For your presentation on Monday, 27 February, your assignment is to research a Vancouver-based company. The presentation should use Prezi or PowerPoint.
Start by using the "Interview Preparation Checklist". This is a guideline to help you focus your research. FYI, "STAR" is an acronym for:
S - Situation, background; set the scene
T - Task or Target: specifics of what's required;
when; where; who
A - Action: what you did, skills used, behaviours,
characteristics
R - Result: Outcome; what happened
You are not expected to use each item on the form, and you can add information that you feel is required for you. Also, you may not have the slightest interest in working in Vancouver, or for the company you choose, but everyone can learn something from their research.
